Score Notes (Safia Shafi)
Score notes
The type of music you use is very important in a thriller as sound can help in building enigma. The type of music you chose is also important it must go well with your thriller. When it came to choosing what kinda sound I wanted, I went on the web site incompetech to help me chose appropriate sound, the kind of music I chose to use was vey fast pasted upbeat, action music. The reason for choosing this music is because the paste of the score was really good and went very well with our final product
I also used other sounds for our final product, I used a variety of impact sounds, the first one I used was a typewriter sound, I used this sound right at the end of my final when it says “…48hours before”.
The second impact sound I used was stone crash on the floor, I used this for when the title Rebecca appears and comes down.
I also used impact sound at the beginning of our opening sequence, when the logo comes in it goes round then stops as it stops we here a sound, which sounds a bit like a gun shot. And then below our logo “capturing movies in high definition” comes in with a sharp sword sound.
All the different sound we used went very well with our final product; it helped build lot of suspense and tension which is what we wanted.
